Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex and husband Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, are expecting their first child due next spring.
The baby will be seventh in line to the British throne after Prince Charles, Prince William and his three children and Prince Harry.
The announcement comes five months after the couple wed in a ceremony at Windsor Castle.
