NCB Jamaica says it is looking at more opportunities for investment in St. Thomas.

The bank provided the $6 billion financing for the Morant Bay Urban Centre, which is about 50 per cent complete.

CEO of NCBJ Bruce Bowen says the institution is looking at multiple areas of investment.

We're looking across Jamaica obviously, but in St. Thomas, this obviously is the major project coming out of the ground now. But we're looking at all kinds of projects - tourism, housing, many different areas. We look at projects across Jamaica because our mission is to make sure that not just the government and the country but individuals, small business, micro business, large business, that we're playing our role to help people grow wealth," he said.

Since the Southern Coastal Highway improvement project in St. Thomas, a number of major companies have been looking at the parish for investment opportunities.

The Morant Bay Urban Centre will bring several corporate entities and government agencies to St. Thomas.
