Oil prices ticked higher on Friday as some of the world’s largest producers expressed willingness to stick to output cuts, capping a tumultuous week for a market plagued by a global glut.
West Texas Intermediate crude for August advanced 18 cents, to $42.92 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
