Roman records 4-timer including the feature event

Title chasing jockey Raddesh Roman stole the show on Saturday's 9 race card at Caymanas Park with a 4-timer including the winner of the feature event.

Roman capped off his 4-timer by going from gate to wire aboard Errol Waugh's 4- chance Antarctica in the Aston Commock Memorial Trophy, the feature event for native bred and imported 4 year old and up over a mile. The 4 year old bay colt covered the distance in 1:42.4 to win by 4-and-half lengths.
  
Roman's other winner's on the programme were the 4-5 favourite Anonymous in race number 3 and the 5-2 chance Golden Syrup in race 6, both saddled by former champion trainer Anthony "Baba" Nunes as well as He Stands Alone in the 7th event.

Roman increased his tally for the season to 31 wins, 12 behind the leader Tevin Foster who went winless. Racing continues next Saturday.
