Andre Kellman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana
Andre Kellman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana, was on Friday offered bail in the sum of $70,000 after being charged with the sexual assault of a worker at the airport.
Mr. Kellman was charged with touching the employee in a sexual way by kissing her on the mouth without her consent on July 30 last year.
The unidentified woman had filed a complaint against the 56 year old airport official but it was only recently that the police became involved in the investigation.
Kellman, who has more than two decades service with the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, will return to court next week.
He has denied the charge.
