The Half-Way-Tree Police have launched a manhunt for a group of gunmen who opened fire on mourners along Waltham Park Road in St. Andrew Sunday morning, leaving two dead and others nursing gunshot wounds.
The drive-by shooting occurred shortly after 10 o'clock in a community popularly known as 77 Lane.
It's reported that a group of mourners had gathered for a funeral procession to St Mary when men on motor bikes drove up and opened fire on them.
The driver of the hearse, which was on location, was fatally shot. He has been identified as Michael Bent, who was employed to Tranqulity Funeral Home.
Another man, believed to be the target of the gunmen, was shot dead in the attack.
