Man convicted of murdering 18-year-old, given life sentence

Oneil Sheckleford who was last month found guilty of the murder of 18-year-old St. Elizabeth resident Rochelle Chin, was on Tuesday morning sentenced to life imprisonment.
    
The sentence was handed down in the Home Circuit Court in Kingston.
    
Sheckleford will be eligible for parole after 20 years.
    
He was found guilty by a jury in the St. Elizabeth Circuit Court last month.  
    
His co-accused Dwayne Powell was acquitted of the charges.
    
Rochelle Chin was shot outside her home shortly after arriving home on July 25, 2011.
