A strengthening potential tropical cyclone is moving rapidly towards the southern Windward Islands.
Weather forecasters are warning that it could become a tropical storm when it moves through the Windward Islands later Monday night into Tuesday.
The Miami-based National Hurricane Center said the weather system was located 485 miles east south east of Trinidad and 550 miles east south east of Grenada.
It has sustained winds of 40 miles per hour and some strengthening is expected during the next 48 hours.
