Gareth Henry to sharpen badminton skills in Indonesia

Gareth Henry's mission to qualify for the Badminton competition at the 2016 Olympic Games could  be boosted by an eight-week training camp in Indonesia.

Henry, who is the National Champion and one of the top badminton players in the region, took part in a tournament in Puerto Rico recently where he lost in the third round.

He was beaten by top seeded American, Howard Shu, 21-18, 21-23, 14-21. Prior to that loss, he had victories against Germany's Nilis Kloeppel and Puerto Rico's Ivan Morales in the first two rounds.

Henry's first tournament after his training stint in Indonesia will be the Jamaica International, in March.
