Sports Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange says the Government has re-asserted its fight against doping in sport with the newly-formed National Anti-Doping in Sport Compliance Committee. The committee which is set up to ensure that Jamaica conforms to the World Anti Doping Agency's (WADA) code and UNESCO's International Convention against Doping in Sport, had its first meeting on Wednesday.
Minister Grange says it's an initiative which involves a number of different agencies., noting that it's also important to have non-Government agencies in on the fight against doping in sport.
