Scorpions hold slender advantage over Hurricanes

The Jamaica Scorpions lead the Leeward Islands Hurricanes by 33 runs with four second innings wickets remaining at stumps on day two of round five of the regional 4-day competition at the Trelawny Stadium on Friday. The Hurricanes who began the day on 215-9, were eventually bowled out for 227.

Patrick Harty led the way with the ball for the Scorpions with 4-43, while Nicholson Gordon took 2-54. At the close of play, the Scorpions reached 260-6. Jermaine Blackwood top scored with 98. Rahkeem Cornwall took 3-72 for the visitors. The Scorpions are searching for their first home win of the season.
